The importer and distributor of solar energy equipment Ecori Solar Energy, launched a professional certification initiative for its clients.

According to the company, the project is aimed at professionals who carry out installations and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.

Furthermore, the program also aims to ensure the training of professionals working on projects and in areas of installation and maintenance of the company's equipment.

“We reinforce our concern with the necessary professionalization of the photovoltaic solar energy sector in order to grow even further, responsibly”, says Leandro Martins, president of Ecori Energia Solar.

“Professional certification is very welcome, as it generates credibility and differentiates the certified integrator from others. It is, without a doubt, a first step towards making the market even more robust and qualified”, he concludes.

Still according to Ecori, expectations are good. Due to the feedback the company has received, most customers understand certification as a great opportunity and the process of taking the exam has already started.

The executive clarified that the certificate is valid for three years and requires a minimum age of 18 to take the test, with the exception of emancipated candidates.

According to the notice, approval of the professional candidate is obtained through an examination and an audit process. Still according to the Totum Institute, the exam requires the use of electronic equipment to complete it.

For this reason, it is recommended to use computers with a camera and microphone system, with updated operating systems (Windows 10 or MacOS Mojave or higher) and an internet browser updated to its latest version (Google Chrome, Safari and Mozilla Firefox).

Registration can be done via the Totum Institute website, accessing the section “OPC – Personnel Certification” or clicking here.

After confirmation of payment, the test will be made available in the professional's restricted area, via web camera, with access permitted at any time, within a maximum period of 90 days.
