A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) opens this Friday (17) Public Consultation No. 032/2022, to analyze the draft Notice for Existing Energy Auctions A-1 and A-2 of 2022, intended for the purchase of electricity generated by existing enterprises.
According to the Agency, the competitions aim to contract electrical energy in quantity and from any source.
The auctions are scheduled for December 2, 2022, with live broadcast on the CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber) portal.
The system proposed in the draft notice, according to ANEEL, is the same as that adopted for Auctions A-1 and A-2 promoted by the Agency and CCEE last year.
The contracts provide for a two-year supply: from January 1, 2023, for contracts relating to Auction A-1, and from January 1, 2024, for Auction A-2 contracts.
