Photovoltaic equipment distributor Elgin has extended the warranty on its photovoltaic inverters from six to ten years. The measure was announced in October and is already in effect.

The measure is valid for the entire line of Elgin string inverters and hybrid inverters. According to the company, the objective is to further reduce operating costs for the end customer and facilitate business for design and installation companies in the country.

According to Glauco Santos, director of Elgin's solar division, increasing the warranty to ten years brings more security to solar energy companies when choosing products and partner distributors.

“It is worth remembering, however, that this equipment has a useful life of more than 20 years, which brings a great return on investment, since the solar system as a whole pays for itself, on average, in four years”, he explains. .

E-commerce

During the Intersolar South America 2021, your online platform for selling photovoltaic kits for residential, commercial, industrial and rural property projects. According to Elgin, the new sales channel operates 24 hours a day and one of the highlights of the platform is a calculator that helps in sizing a solar energy system.

“The main objective of e-commerce is to make the negotiation process easier and more agile for the solar integrator. We know that this professional's time is becoming increasingly scarce. For this reason, we believe that our new sales channel will be a great ally in optimizing the daily lives of these companies”, highlighted Santos.

For design and installation companies, an optimized equipment search platform was created. The objective is to facilitate and guide you on the best solar kit configurations for each specific project. 

Furthermore, e-commerce enables joint sales to the end consumer with the integration of product and service billing. Through the new channel, it is possible to monitor and track order deliveries.
