In ten years, half of the revenue Petrobras will come from solar, wind and renewable fuel sources, with the company making acquisitions with the aim of boosting the energy transition, he said Jean Paul Prates, president of the state, in an interview with Bloomberg

The executive said that the company does not intend to make drastic changes to the company's strategy, but pointed out that the state needs to be prepared for the opportunities that the sector of renewable energy can provide.

Initially, Petrobras is thinking about investing in solar and wind projects on dry land before moving on to also make contributions to offshore plants, that is, on the high seas.

According to Prates, the Brazilian company is also willing to expand plant-based fuel for the transport sector, especially aviation and maritime.
