Solar sector company aims to increase revenue by 650%

A Sollar Sul, accredited by Renovigi Solar Energy, aims to achieve a turnover of R$ 120 million for 2022, an increase of 650% compared to the 16 million achieved in 2021 and 2,300% compared to the R$ 5 million achieved in 2020.

Furthermore, the company said it expects to sell 10,000 solar panels per month this year, an increase of 150% compared to the 4,000 modules sold per month in 2021.

About to celebrate four years in April, the brand has more than 1,200 plants in operation and more than 45,000 panels installed. “We are clear about where we want to go and we focus our energy on that,” highlighted Leonardo Porto, CEO of Sollar Sul.

The company also emphasized that it was a pioneer in acquiring the first electric car to run in Taquari (RS), which has around 26 thousand inhabitants, and in installing the first project with containers in the city, including rainwater collection through cisterns. , use of solar energy and recycled materials in the construction of the project.

Another project that will mark the company's expansion is the Distribution Center. With works in the final phase, the 5 thousand m² space will concentrate the office and all logistics operations to serve, in addition to Taquari, the branches in Teutônia, Charqueadas, Lajeado and the new points mapped around Porto that should be opened in the first half of the year.

Ivanda Aguilera, sales coordinator at Renovigi, Rio Grande do Sul region, highlighted the businessman's innovative profile. “Sollar Sul was a pioneer in the Taquari region with a unique style that sets it apart and makes it a reference brand.”

“Leonardo observed the need and knew how to transform the current solar generation model into something that had economic, social and environmental sustainability”, he concluded.

Solar energy in Rio Grande do Sul

According to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), Rio Grande do Sul is in third place in the state ranking of photovoltaic DG (distributed generation) with around 1 GW of power, behind only Minas Gerias and São Paulo , which have, respectively, 1.5 GW and 1.2 GW.

Comprised of Santa Catarina and Paraná, the South Region represented 32% of revenue in 2021 for Renovigi Energia Solar, manufacturer and supplier of equipment for Sollar Sul and more than 600 accredited companies in the states.
