A EcoPower, a network of solar energy franchises, launched the “My Solar Program” with the aim of expand access for families in classes C and D to the generation system photovoltaic source, mainly in inland cities.

A action is valid in all Brazilian states and will offer solar power kits per prices from R$ 7.4 thousand. These are residential systems which vary from 2.2 kWp to 6.6 kWp, in on-grid and hybrid modalities.

In addition to financing, the program also provides for the distribution of a stove cooktop of induction for the first ten customers in each state, promoting additional savings by reducing spending on gas cylinders.

According to Anderson Oliveira, president of EcoPower, the action is being communicated at agricultural fairs and family farming communities. “Our goal is to make solar energy accessible in all regions of Brazil, providing opportunities for customers who would otherwise not be able to purchase a solar system,” he said.

On average, the systems have a payback (time for total return on investments) of three to four years, a durability of up to 25 years (with the possibility of transferring addresses in the case of rented properties) and low maintenance requirements.

Campaign

To increase the reach of the “Meu Solar” program, the promotion includes the participation of singer Zezé di Camargo, who installed a solar energy generation plant on his farm in May.

The campaign also received subsidies from the supplier WEG, banks and other partners to reduce the costs of bank interest, electrical cables, structures and photovoltaic modules. To find out more, interested parties can consult the campaign website.
