Enel Brasil's energy solutions company, Enel X, and the Estapar parking network created a network for charging electric and hybrid vehicles.

The program, called Ecovagas, will have 250 semi-rapid charging stations – 80% battery in three hours – in 100 points in 23 cities in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions and also in the Federal District.

The spaces will be exclusive and specially marked and installed in parking lots managed by Estapar in places such as shopping centers, airports, hospitals, arenas, commercial buildings and educational institutions.

The recharge service will be free for customers of companies partnering with the project. To benefit from the free service, the user must register on the application Estapar Smart Vacancy.

The entire network is expected to be operational by February 2021. Charging stations will be made available in the cities of São Paulo (SP), Guarulhos (SP), Barueri (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Belo Horizonte (MG ), Curitiba (PR), Aracaju (SE), Recife (PE), Salvador (BA), Brasília (DF), Campinas (SP) and Fortaleza (CE).
