Develop joint solutions for a model of smart, safe and resilient cities. This is the objective of Enel X Brasil, Leonardo and TIM, who signed an agreement of intentions last week at the Italian embassy in Brasília (DF).

According to the companies, each will offer products and services within the scope of projects in the field of transport, connectivity, digital transformation and energy – bringing a better quality of life to the population, as well as more protection for industries and homes.

Among the applications is the implementation of security technologies for citizens, integrated with a series of smart sensors, such as those for measuring climate and pollution levels, as well as public charging systems for electric vehicles.

For companies and public buildings, the partnership provides for the development of engineering solutions, the supply of renewable energy in distributed generation plants and the use of real-time monitoring platforms for air conditioning.

“One of Enel X’s main objectives is to promote the decarbonization of urban centers, offering solutions that make cities more digital, sustainable and circular, with benefits for citizens and society”, said Francisco Scroffa, head of Enel

“Leonardo has developed a command and control platform capable of managing satellite data with terrestrial monitoring data, ensuring physical and cyber security”, highlighted Francesco Moliterni, president of Leonardo do Brasil.

Pietro Labriola, CEO of TIM Brasil, reinforced the importance of partnerships for building integrated offers for corporate customers in the country: “We have been working to take the customer experience to the next level, and this includes industries eager for connected solutions”.

“This partnership is another step towards the country’s digital transformation. Innovation is fundamental to encourage the change we need”, concluded Labriola.
