O Energisa Group opened, last Monday (04), the public call for project selection for the PEE (Energy Efficiency Program), regulated by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

For this year, there will be contributed more than R$ 30 million in initiatives by the Group's nine distributors, in the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Paraíba, Paraná, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Tocantins, Acre and Rondônia.

According to the company, PEE resources can be directed to rural projects, public lighting infrastructure, social organizations, companies and public bodies.

All customers in the concession areas of the company's distributors can participate in the notice, which will remain open until November 6th. The rules will be presented live this Tuesday (12), at 10am, at link.

“Through the Energy Efficiency Program, we seek to promote the transformation of the energy efficiency market and, above all, stimulate the development of new technologies”, said Thiago Oliveira, Energy Efficiency coordinator.

“The PEE also has the important mission of promoting habits of rational consumption of electrical energy. Within the Energisa Group, action on ESG issues is an integral part of the growth strategy, even more so in a climate change scenario. In this sense, the program is another opportunity to mitigate the impacts of our businesses on the planet”, he highlighted.
