A Epson, one Japanese multinational in the field of printers and projectors, reported that all of its global facilities became completely supplied by renewable energy.

Using these sources, the company – which consumes approximately 876 GWh of energy per year – esteem reduce annually more than 400 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

In Brazil, the company has had a factory in operation since 1997, in Barueri (SP). In 2014, the multinational also began the national production of video projectors with the inauguration of a production line in Manaus (AM).

At the beginning of the decade, the Epson has publicly committed to becoming a zero-carbon company, when announcing the decision to use renewable energy in all its facilities.

This migration was completed in Japan in November 2021 and, globally, in December last year. In the meantime, Epson has also committed to reducing the amount of energy associated with producing its products.
