Schools in Campo Grande will have air conditioning and solar energy from 2024

Investments are part of the municipality's R$ 134 million package to implement improvements in education

A Campo Grande City Hall (MS) launched, on Monday night (20), a R$ package 134 million for carrying out improvements in the area of education.

Among them is the installation of solar energy systems it's from air conditioning devices in all units of the municipal education network.

It is also planned to build 166 new classrooms, open 6,600 new places for new students in 2024 and hire more than 300 teachers. 

The City Council states that it treats the investment package as an evolution of 16 years in 16 months in the area of education. 

According to the data presented, the photovoltaic modules both in ground as much as we roofs of municipal schools. 

To the soil plants will have 2.6 MWp, with the Government forecasting savings of more than R$ 182 million in 25 years. 

The systems photovoltaics installed in roofs will have, in total, power of 3.7 MWp and the savings promise to be more than R$ 257 million over the entire useful life of the equipment. 

With this, the estimated total savings by Campo Grande with solar energy systems is of over R$ 439 million over the next 25 years.
