Agribusiness is responsible for the increase in Brazilian GDP (Gross Domestic Product) by 6.1% compared to 2019.
The data shows a leading role that gains even more strength through precision technology, cost management and crop rotation.
Faced with a space that tends to grow year after year, photovoltaic equipment manufacturer Renovigi Energia Solar began providing conditions for the acquisition of photovoltaic systems through the Broto business platform, from BB Seguros.
The partnership offers credits to obtain systems for individuals and legal entities.
The products already available on the platform include on-grid and off-grid generators, which can be composed of solar panels from 330W to 445W, single-phase and three-phase inverters – micro inverters or string inverters from 3k to 125k – and fixing structures for roofs and ground.
According to Paulo Hora, executive superintendent of Rural Insurance at Brasilseg, a BB Seguros company, the use of clean energy is now more than essential for the sustainable growth of rural enterprises.
“The partnership with Renovigi is another step towards our purpose of helping producers enhance their economic productivity. With solar, the farmer, who saves money, the environment and society win”, highlights Hora.
For Graziele Trentin, financial manager at Renovigi, the use of photovoltaic equipment in agricultural production is what can help make a difference in the day-to-day lives of producers. “Being able to generate your own energy from sunlight and benefit from sustainability in the economic, environmental and social tripod brings many advantages”, he highlights.
Growth of agribusiness
After achieving record growth last year, accounting for more than 26% of GDP, Brazilian agribusiness continues to show signs of improvement in 2021. Data released by Ipea (Institute for Applied Economic Research) reported that the sector's Gross Domestic Product growth estimate for this year rose from 2.2% to 2.6%.
According to the institute, the main risks in the projection are related to the water crisis, which could harm vegetable production and the cattle farming segment, which still has uncertainties regarding supply and demand.
