A SPEL, one of Pakistan's leading manufacturers of engineering plastics and packaging products, has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the module manufacturer Hanersun.

According to the company, the objective with this partnership is that all of its factories pass to operate through solar energy. Hanersun will be solely responsible for future projects that will include such plants.

The first system developed by SPEL and Hanersun Pakistan, which is a 583 kW factory rooftop photovoltaic plant, was commissioned in April 2021.

As early as April 2022, they decided to start cooperation with a 756 kW ground-mounted power plant in Pandoki. In addition to these, two more projects at the Karachi factory and on the roofs of the Rahimyar Khan factory are already on the company's agenda.

About Hanersun

A Hanersun established a local branch in Pakistan in 2018 to provide services such as module sales, photovoltaic EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and project O&M (Operation and Maintenance).

In the future, they stated that they will continue to make efforts in the international market to build a clean, low-consumption, safe and efficient modern energy system to help achieve the goal of global carbon neutrality.
