Florianópolis will host GD Sul Forum in June

Increasing the participation of rural producers in the segment will be the focus of the event

The agribusiness sector has increasingly invested in photovoltaic sources. Data from ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation) indicate that rural producers' adoption of solar energy increased by 7.4% in installed power.

Also according to the association, the agro sector has more than 18 thousand systems currently installed in operation. This strong presence of the solar source in the sector will be the main theme of the GD South Region Forum (Regional Distributed Generation Forum of the South Region), which will be held between the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of June, at the Majestic Palace Hotel, in Florianópolis ( SC).

The forum will be attended by several players and professionals from the Brazilian photovoltaic market, including Ivan Sarturi (PHB Solar), Gustavo Chagas (Nexen) and Thiago Mingareli (Amara Nzero).

According to the FRG Mídias & Eventos Group, responsible for organizing the event, the focus of the debate will be the solutions and challenges that the DG sector will face this coming year in light of Law 14,300, also bringing up issues involving renewable energy in the southern region of the country.

Debating these peculiarities, respecting their skills, such as agribusiness, cooperatives.
