FotoFix launches its 3rd generation of fixing structures

The structures are distributed and sold in partnership with MCM Solar Energy

Before completing one year since the launch of its first line of fixing structures for roofs, slabs and floors, FotoFix launches its third line.

The structures, manufactured in Araras (SP), are distributed and sold in partnership with MCM Solar Energy, responsible for FotoFix's commercial area throughout the country.

“Generation 3.0 is based on the most modern fastening structures, combined with the search for the lowest price on the market and following high quality standards. We were quick to solve the integrator's problems and difficulties, listening to all the criticisms and failures of the 1.0 generation, we evolved in engineering and costs. It has been a great sales success, even in the midst of the pandemic”, says Sérgio Ferreira, director of MCM Solar Energy.

Edson Marasco, founder of MCM Solar Energy, tells us about the development process of the 3rd generation. “Generation 1.0 was the kickoff. We had technical support from many installers, engineers and distributors from various parts of Brazil who helped us a lot with their criticisms and experiences. From this support, generation 2.0 emerged, which managed to quickly resolve all the flaws of the previous generation. But, generation 3.0 is the state of the art, the incessant search for the best cost-benefit for integrators and distributors in Brazil”, reports the executive.

Contribution of Brazilian integrators

According to FotoFix, during the development of the launched line, the company also relied on several reports from integrators of cuts in hands or legs due to structures that came with sharp edges and aluminum and steel filings.

“With this in mind, all components of the FotoFix structure undergo mechanical and chemical treatment so that there are no remains of filings, burrs or sharp edges in our structures, thus reducing the chance of accidents”, says Marasco.

“Also, following the strictest European standards that guide us, all clips, in addition to chemical treatment, are anodized, aiming for greater durability and aesthetics. Just because a structure will be on the roof doesn’t mean it needs to be poorly finished or ugly, many integrators tell us that their clients are delighted with the level of finish”, adds the executive.

Structure for slab and ground

“This fixing structure is different from anything we have ever seen here in Brazil. As is already done in Europe and the USA, our structure is very robust, with adjustment for all latitudes in Brazil, made with structural rails, shoes and various adjustments, it is not just a triangle made with an L-shaped profile. integrator receives, is generally surprised. And we still have the best market conditions, otherwise all this sophistication and engineering would lose its meaning”, says Marasco.

According to the executive, the structure has differences such as a grounding system included in all kits with grounding clamps for the end of the string and, thinking about the safety and quality of grounding continuity, grounding clips to guarantee electrical continuity in the event of discharges. electrical. “This way, there is no need to connect grounding cables between the photovoltaic panels, aiming to ground the entire string”, highlights Ferreira.

“And we also offer the option of personalized boxes and packaging for our customers, distributors and integrators, with their company logo. Our interest is that the brand of our client, integrator or distributor appears, with our technology”, says Marasco.

“If the integrator or distributor is interested in learning about our products, we send samples throughout Brazil, free of charge” concludes the executive.
