Fronius Brasil completes 10 years in the solar division and plans expansion

Austrian company celebrates anniversary with regulatory framework that focuses on innovations

Fronius Brasil celebrates 10 years in the solar energy market in Brazil and plans to expand to different audiences, supplying the demand of large own generation plants and also small users.

According to Fronius, around 10% of the installed power in the national territory uses the Austrian manufacturer's technology, with approximately 140 thousand inverters in operation totaling around 1400 MW.

One of the projects is to boost the sale of the new line of inverters, Tauro. This model features more robust solar power inverters with a power range of 50 kW to 100 kW.

In celebration of the unit's decade, customers will be offered a 10-year warranty on all inverters of up to 10 kW of power – which include inverters for residential and small commercial projects.

The warranty will also be extended for inverters of the Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus type and for the Fronius SnapINverter range that were registered from April 4, 2022, via the portal SolarWeb.

“We are growing gradually and with the growing demand for clean and more accessible energy sources, combined with the subsidy guaranteed until 2045 by the new regulatory framework for own energy generation for those who install photovoltaic systems by January 2023. Expectations for the next is to increase inverter sales throughout this year”, said Alexandre Rezende, sales manager for Solar Energy at Fronius do Brasil.

The company's expectation for the next 10 years, according to the new regulatory framework, is to focus on quality and innovation by optimizing the energy management embedded in photovoltaic systems and thereby increasing self-consumption rates.

And also invest in accessories, such as Ohmpilot – which allows the intelligent heating of water and other heat sources – and Wattpilot – an intelligent electric vehicle charger
