Genyx Solar launches digital bank for the photovoltaic market

The solution has customized products and financing available for integrators and end customers

The distributor of solar kits Genyx launched, in the latest edition of Intersolar South America, a digital bank focusing on the solar integrator. According to the distributor, Banco Genyx expects to bring together solutions for natural and legal persons who are inserted in the photovoltaic market.

Thiago Diniz, director of Banco Genyx, comments on the features that the solution offers through internet banking and the application, available on App Store It is Google Play.

“It is possible to carry out transactions, monitor movements, issue billing slips in batches, send and receive funds, make batch payments to employees, international cards and withdrawals. Customers will be able to count on personalized products and tailored credit lines”, he says.

“Currently, financing in the solar sector is focused on the end customer, the owner of the generating unit, but we believe that integrators are fundamental to the continued growth of the sector. Improving this access to credit is one of the pillars for this development, which allows us to generate more jobs, democratize the generation of electricity and improve the environment”, he adds.

According to Diniz, the deadlines for integrator financing will be carried out within six months, making the product available immediately. “It’s the opportunity to have your own stock, accelerating the number of sales and making your capital rotate”, he emphasizes.

The financing for end customers The deadline can be up to 100 months, making it possible to fully finance the project by dividing the payment for labor for the integrator and the generator kit for the distributor.

Asked about the rates that the bank offers, the director points out that the institution will follow a individual assessment line for each customer. “It is always complicated to talk about rates as they depend on factors internal and external to the market and the profile of the borrower, but we can say that we have very attractive and competitive rates”, he states.

“The formation of the rate also depends on the quality of our customers’ information, relationship with Banco Genyx and Genyx Solar Power. Focusing on this relationship will bring a different perspective and better information for credit analysis, making it possible to generate good business opportunities”, he adds.

Financial partners

According to Diniz, the financial institution behind Banco Genyx is the S3 Bank, promoted by the structure Banking as a Service (BaaS) of BV bank, and provides an integrated platform for financial services with a digital account, cards and credit offers personalized credit.

The partnership with the banking institution occurred after Lucas Freitas, CEO of Genyx, was denied financing for the purchase of solar kits, which led the company to have a look closely at possible solutions for this market.

“Thinking about it, he understood that the denial was not about not having credit, but rather the lack of information and data from that bank about his financial history. This pain is felt with each financing that Genyx is unable to close, and this was the trigger for us to seek a solution”, highlights the executive.

“The big news at the fair this year was financial and for this reason we understand that we are on the right path to achieving our mission”, he concludes.
