A GoodWe, manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters and energy storage solutions, took advantage of this year's Intersolar South America to present its product portfolio to the public and showcase the company's news for the Brazilian market.

The company's greatest attraction was the “HT Line” for commercial and industrial applications and large power plants. This is a high-power string inverter for ground projects, which helps reduce system costs and ensures greater energy savings.

The technology has 12 MPPT inputs, PLC communication and is compatible with bifacial and higher power modules, supporting 30A per MPPT. The equipment also has an internal humidity detection system and an optional PID recovery function.

GoodWe also took advantage of the event to present the new “Lynx Home U” line – a low-voltage lithium battery, which was designed for residential applications, with safe battery technology (LFP) and an optimized experience for each user. The technology has a built-in automatic recognition function, which allows for simpler installation.

The new lines of 3, 5 and 6 kW single-phase inverters, with more affordable prices for the consumer, were also highlights. “We brought in a family of investors called Grey, which has a more competitive price in the market. These are inverters that do not have Type 2 DPS protection and have a gray finish, which is cheaper”, explained Alexandre Pereira da Silva, the company's service manager.

Another strong point was the XS and DNS models, created to be small and compact residential solar inverters. With up to 13A maximum input current per string, the equipment is compatible with higher power modules, aiming to ensure greater absorption of sunlight. The modules also offer dust protection and waterproofing, as well as a fanless, low-noise design.

Intersolar Awards

GE Solar Brasil – a General Electric inverter brand that is used under license from GoodWe – was one of the finalists in this year's Intersolar Awards, which seeks to reward the most outstanding products on the market. The company competed with one of its hybrid inverters: the GEH 5-10kW.

The storage technology is compatible with high voltage batteries (80-495 V) and has power ranging from 5 to 10 kW. With input for up to 4 MPPTs, the new product adapts to complex roofs in large residences.

The solution aims to help the owners of these projects maximize energy generation and self-consumption with greater security as the inverter's intelligent mechanisms are activated in a timely manner to guarantee the supply of energy to critical loads, when necessary.

According to Pereira da Silva, when the network is compromised, UPS level switching allows the technology to switch to backup mode in less than 10 ms. “It is an inverter that you can install with high voltage lithium batteries and that allows the consumer to save photovoltaic energy to store in the battery for later useUse it at night or during cloudy weather”, he explained.
