Greener promotes event enabling projects and discusses laws in the country

With renowned speakers in the solar sector, analysts make notes on the attractiveness of solar today

O Greener Business Summit 2022, held this week in São Paulo (SP), was attended by more than 200 professionals from the photovoltaic market, in addition to the presence of major players in the solar sector.

The event was held by Greener, a company specialized in research and consultancy in the solar energy market, and had a partnership with Canal Solar.

According to the organization, the main proposal of the event was to clarify the aspects when investing in large DG (distributed generation) and GC (centralized generation) plants, in addition to exploring the free and regulated energy market in the country.

“With an exclusive methodology, we structure an environment conducive to accelerated learning on fundamental topics that help investors and developers to define the best strategies for more attractive and competitive photovoltaic projects”, commented the company's director, Márcio Takata. 

On the first day, the speakers explained the challenges and opportunities that exist in the solar market, highlighted the changes in legislation that must be monitored by professionals in the sector, in addition to explaining the calculations that need to be carried out to verify the viability of photovoltaic projects. Another highlighted theme was the synergy between electric mobility and the photovoltaic market.

This Wednesday, the topics discussed were the most attractive business models for GD, a regulatory overview and a pre and post analysis of solar attractiveness with Law 14,300 announced this year. It also features speakers from the financial sector talking about investments, purchases and sales, leasing models and alternative funding structures in relation to the capital market.

And for the last day, the program is focused on discussing topics about the scenarios for opening the free market, notes on the number of consumers and how this should be analyzed by players, bringing perspectives from the legal sector to complement the subject. Closing with discussions about GC plants, international market volatility and success stories in the solar sector.
