Growatt signs 2.5 GW distribution agreement with Aldo Solar

The distributor Aldo Solar and the manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters Growatt signed a 2.5 GW distribution agreement power for next year. According to the companies, this is the largest DG (distributed generation) agreement in Latin America.

For Aldo Pereira Teixeira, founder and CEO of Aldo Solar, the agreement strengthens the photovoltaic segment in the country. “The partnership with Growatt brings the certainty that we will deliver competitive and highly technological solutions for the Brazilian solar energy market in distributed generation. Thus, we take another important step towards the development of the solar energy sector”, he highlights.

The CEO of Aldo Solar also highlights that by strengthening this long-term partnership, the company hopes to double the milestone of 200,000 generators sold in the last 5 years and earn more than R$ 6 billion in 2022.

“With the exponential growth of solar energy in Brazil, expectations are for an increasingly greater generation of clean energy, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions into the environment and contributing to the country's economic and social development. Currently, Growatt provides the Brazilian photovoltaic market with a wide range of products and solutions, including 0.75-253 kW on-grid string inverter, 2-30 kW off-grid energy storage inverter compatible with lithium battery from 2.56 to 400 kWh from Growatt and intelligent, zero-grid management solution for photovoltaic systems.

Today, there are more than 40 engineers dedicated to supporting Brazilian consumers. A Growatt established two service centers in Brazil and promises many new features, starting in January 2022, confirming its investment and care for the Brazilian market.
