Growatt invests in logistics in the Brazilian photovoltaic market

Manufacturer implemented PAC Reverso to speed up its services in the country
Growatt investe em logística no mercado fotovoltaico brasileiro

After inaugurating its new call center at the beginning of this year, in the city of Maringá (PR), the photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Growatt entered into a partnership with the Post Office and implemented the PAC Reverso, aiming to optimize its services in Brazil.

According to Talyson Alves, marketing manager at Growatt in Brazil, the objective of the company's actions is to speed up customer service. “This partnership with Correios aims to reach all Brazilian municipalities, generating a great experience for resellers across the country”, he highlighted.

Alves also explains that the measure is a more practical solution for resales. “Our logistics operation mainly concerned single-phase inverters, whose weight does not exceed the maximum allowed by the Post Office of 30 kg”.

“We formed a partnership with the entity to use the reverse PAC. Growatt increasingly wants to enter the Brazilian market and facilitate the O&M process. Thus, the person receives a number and, using it, goes to a post office and there is no additional cost'', he explains.

The executive clarifies that this operation will allow the installer to send the inverter on the same day that the code was sent to him. This means there will be no need to wait for the carrier to arrive at the location, as this process has been hampered by delays.

Therefore, the maximum warranty period will begin to run from the moment the inverter arrives at the Service Center.

Recognition in the Brazilian market

Manufacturer Growatt was classified as leader among brands of residential photovoltaic inverters in Brazil, according to the most recent distributed generation report released by Greener, a research and consultancy company.

According to the survey, the company reached the top in the second half of 2020. “We would like to thank all our partners for their contributions to this achievement in Brazil”, declared Lisa Zhang, marketing director at Growatt.

She attributed the success to the significant increase in the company's investments in the country in recent years. “Committed to the development of solar energy in Brazil, we created a technical support center in São Paulo, a service center in Maringá and developed a much stronger local team to offer excellent customer service.”

In 2019, the manufacturer has partnered with Aldo Solar to promote its advanced photovoltaic solutions among Brazilians. “At Growatt, we are customer-oriented. We are committed to providing comprehensive and professional training in installation, monitoring, troubleshooting and other topics related to the latest photovoltaic technologies,” said the executive.

“In addition, our team has been working closely with our partners to develop products and solutions that meet the specific demands of the Brazilian market,” he added.

Growatt has added to its product offerings the inverter, which is tailor-made for three-phase 220 V solar photovoltaic application in Brazil.

Furthermore, the company is expected to launch a new generation of single-phase inverters in the country later this year, according to Lisa. “We will continue to offer high-quality products and services to Brazilians and with such a comprehensive range of photovoltaic inverter solutions.”
