A Growatt recently added the AX LV battery system to its solutions portfolio, expanding market reach to meet growing demand for off-grid residential lithium battery storage systems.
“AXE LV covers a wide capacity range ranging from 5 kWh to 400 kWh, which meets differentiated needs from households to large businesses and industrial settings,” said Lisa Zhang, Director of Marketing at Growatt.
According to the company, the modularity of this technology facilitates installation with internal plugs, without the need for extra cable connections, while with all external cables integrated into one plug, their connection to the inverter is much more simplified. In short, they emphasized that the design reduces installation difficulty and time.
Regarding safety terms, the company highlighted that it has multi-level protections for the inverter and the BMS (Battery Management System), such as monitoring and balancing cell safety.
“As a cobalt-free LFP battery, the AX LV stands out for its resistance to high temperatures, strong safety and stability, as well as improved performance of up to 5000 charge cycles,” the manufacturer said in a statement.
The product also has a lifespan of over 10 years, whereas traditional lead-acid batteries may only last two to three years. It generally has more advantages in terms of total cost over the years for customers.
“Growatt’s Brazilian team is already prepared for technical support, training and all necessary support for storage solutions. We bring this advantage of the customer purchasing a complete system, with inverter and battery from the same manufacturer, making after-sales unique and monitoring integrated into the Shine Phone application”, added Guilherme Peterlini, service manager at Growatt.
