According to a preliminary study carried out by the IEA (International Energy Agency) in 2020, the American continent is responsible for 18% of the total installed solar energy capacity in the world.
Knowing this, the inverter manufacturer Growatt has invested in the region's photovoltaic market. To meet demand in North America, it announced the launch of two new X series inverter models.
The MAC 15-36KTL3-XL, which has a maximum efficiency of 98.8%, AC output current of 94.5 A and is suitable for 220 V three-phase systems.
The MIN 7-10KTL-X is designed for high-power residential solar applications and is compatible with 450 W panels with up to 3 MPPT.

Furthermore, the company, in order to deepen its operations, highlighted that it has set up service centers in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, as well as expanded the local service team.
“Because of this localization strategy, Growatt can overcome the challenges brought by the pandemic and continue to expand business across the continent,” says Lisa Zhang, marketing director at Growatt.
In the US, for example, the company recently introduced the MIN 3000-11400TL-XH US hybrid inverter and ARO lithium battery. The aim was to offer customers a safe and reliable solar energy storage solution.
The manufacturer also highlighted that it provides off-grid storage applications on the continent, in which it brings the SPF series of inverters and ARK battery with modular and stackable design for 120 V and 240 V applications.
