With the aim of promoting sustainable energy applications, Growatt set up a laboratory in Shenzhen, China together with the global semiconductor company TI (Texas Instruments).

The venture aims to support the manufacturer in the use of advanced IT technologies and products to obtain an optimized photovoltaic energy storage solution.

The idea is for Growatt's R&D (Research and Development) engineers to bring new updates and innovations in energy efficiency, functional safety and intelligent inverter application solutions.

“Establishing a joint laboratory with TI will enable us to develop smart, powerful and reliable solar inverters and storage batteries that can reshape the future of energy,” said David Ding, CEO of Growatt.

“By leveraging TI’s cutting-edge semiconductor technologies, we will be able to accelerate advances in solar PV and storage technologies to help our communities achieve their carbon neutral goals,” he highlighted.

Ryan Wang, general manager of TI Shenzhen Office, also commented on the partnership and highlighted that supporting innovation in new areas of infrastructure, such as industrial systems, is an important initiative for IT.

For Talyson Alves, marketing manager at Growatt in Brazil, “this agreement strengthens the company's commitment to developing the best and most innovative solutions, always enabling the delivery of a modern and tested product for Brazilian soil”.
