A Hoymiles launched a new line of hybrid inverters state-of-the-art technology, expanding the company's portfolio of advanced energy solutions company. Available at single-phase and three-phase options, HYS and HYT series equipment comes equipped with a data transfer stick (DTS) custom.

“DTS enables intelligent internet connectivity, which means that all operational data can be monitored through the company’s S-Miles Cloud platform,” they highlighted.

“Additionally, Hoymiles hybrid inverters enable bidirectional conversion of electricity from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), as well as from DC to AC. This allows the system to dynamically switch between sources depending on energy production, price and usage”, highlighted the company.

According to the manufacturer, the products are now available in the European and Asia-Pacific markets, with a launch in America scheduled for 2023.

Other highlights

Another point emphasized by Hoymiles is that the series also features a DC/AC ratio of 1.5, “resulting in significantly lower costs when compared to systems of the same capacity using other inverters”.

"A MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) current of 14 A provides perfect compatibility with all major photovoltaic modules available on the market today, and the efficiency of 97.6% represents an unparalleled standard in the industry”, they emphasized.

The company also commented that it designed the inverters to be lightweight, compact and simple to install, meaning they can be easily integrated into any hybrid system.

“We prioritize making efficient and intelligent energy available to everyone. Our new hybrid inverters intuitively integrate solar and grid power so more people can access reliable, cost-effective electricity and be prepared for emergencies like extreme weather,” reported Zhao Yi, chief technology officer at Hoymiles.

“By acting as a bridge between solar energy and the grid, hybrid inverters help people access electricity in a smarter, more flexible way, ensuring stability across the entire system. Our new products represent another significant step in the mission to innovate in the solar market and bring clean energy to everyone”, concluded Yi.
