A Hoymiles launched for the photovoltaic market one 5,000W 8-in-1 microinverter – designed for C&I (commercial and industrial) and large residential projects.
"O MiT (MIT-5000-8T series) from Hoymiles can be a game changer. He has all the power the sector is looking for and it is extremely economical. We’re really excited – it feels like a big step forward,” said the Dr. Yang Bo, CEO & Founder of Hoymiles.
According to him, the equipment has 25 year warranty – a huge step forward, as most traditional inverters currently need to be replaced at least every 10 years.
This means customers will save in a variety of ways: cost of replacing a microinverter itself, as well as in all associated expenses, from labor costs to energy costs during downtime.
Built-in security
Each product input supports two solar panels connected in series, which is suitable for applications with safe DC voltage below 120V/140V, depending on the MiT version chosen for the project.
According to the company, this eliminates the number one cause of fires in photovoltaic systems: high voltage DC arcing, so property and personal safety are covered from the start.
According to the manufacturer, the reality is that most roofs are not perfect for solar panels: they are generally oriented in various directions and almost always have some shadow areas.
In the case of traditional inverters, even if a small area of a module is in shadow, this reduces the output power of the entire assembly. Therefore, it is difficult for traditional inverters to fully utilize the available roof area.
“This does not apply to the Hoymiles MiT microinverter. It can be installed on practically any roof, without the need to worry about non-ideal conditions affecting the matrix’s performance”, highlighted the executive.
More performance
To generate maximum power, the MiT has four MPPTs that ensure each PV module generates optimal output. The minimum voltage of MPPT is only 12V, so the microinverter starts working earlier and can work in low light. Users get less downtime and more hours generating useful energy and ultimately better ROI.
According to the company, all of this is possible even in extreme conditions, as the Hoymiles MiT was designed to operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 65°C. Furthermore, the equipment is resistant, with industrial-grade IP67 protection against rain, snow, wind, dirt and dust.
“The MiT was launched at a special dinner on the evening of June 12th in Shanghai, China, and will be presented during SNEC. It will soon be available for the Brazilian market during Intersolar South America, which will be held in August”, concluded Debora Garcez, LATAM Marketing Manager at Hoymiles.

Brazil is in a hurry for this super machine, especially in the 110, 127 and 220 tension versions
A great opportunity for the Brazilian market. It will be available from next year!
It will soon be available for the Brazilian market!
Is its datasheet already available on the market?
Will we have a three-phase 220/127V version?
At first we will not have the three-phase version, but if the Brazilian market demands it, the equipment may be upgraded in the future.
I just downloaded the datasheet and I was worried about the maximum current range of 4x20A. The idea is to place two boards in parallel, which would allow 10A per board, which in terms of current modules would correspond to 500W modules.
In this model, the plates are connected in series and not in parallel. Then it adds to the plate voltage and the plate current is maintained. Example: Two plates with a voltage of 60 V and a current of 18 A. When placed in series, there will be 120 V and 18 A.
5 kW of output you will need with 4 mppts, good. You will need 1500W modules per input or 3x550W. We want technical data
If you want to connect 3 modules in series per input, the maximum input voltage must be taken into account. The datasheet in Portuguese will soon be available on our Canal Solar manufacturers page.
Great news for the Photovoltaic market.
What is the initial price estimate for this MIT
The price should be announced later by the distributors, but it will be excellent value for money for the Brazilian market.
When will we have this micro on the market???
The forecast is that by the beginning of 2025 we will already have the product in the main distributors.
I already have two inverters
S hoymiles m 2000w installed

I use the 2000w inverter model
