The Green Hydrogen Secretariat of the INEL (National Institute of Clean Energy), announced yesterday (27), during the I Renewable Hydrogen Symposium in Paraíba, in João Pessoa, the creation of a State Coordination in the State of Ceará to promote actions to develop this market.

The working group aims to support government spheres in establishing regulatory frameworks for the important green hydrogen market in the Northeast region and in Brazil, which holds great development potential.

According to INEL, the work of state coordination is guided by three main thematic axes: funding Green Hydrogen Projects; the relationship with regulatory and environmental agents; and the demands of the productive sector in the state of Ceará regarding Green Hydrogen to create ways to boost the development of this industry.

A Ceará Green Hydrogen Coordination is made up of three executives with relevant professional trajectories in the sector:

  • Cibele Gaspar, will bring his experience working at Banco do Nordeste with a focus on Project Finance for Infrastructure projects;
  • Laíz Hérida, CEO of HL Soluções Ambientais, which has more than 17 years of experience in the sector focusing on environmental issues involving projects already announced in the Port of Pecém; It is
  • Silla Motta, CEO of Donna Lamparina, with more than 25 years of experience in the Electrical Sector with consultancy work in Renewable Energy for large corporate clients.

Luiz Piauhylino Filho, Secretary of Green Hydrogen at INEL, explains that the new coordination aims to get closer to all state agents in Ceará who are making efforts for the projects announced in the Port of Pecém.

The work of the Ceará Green Hydrogen Coordination will have the support of Piauhylino Filho and the Vice-Secretary of Green Hydrogen at INEL, Frederico Freitas. Both will have the role of establishing communication channels between the demands of the state and the articulations that INEL already develops with the Executive Branch and the National Congress in Brasília.
