Focusing on public policies aimed at renewable energy, INEL (National Institute of Clean Energy) continues the series of presidential candidates' lives on the current crisis and the country's energy challenges.
The second live will feature Senator Alessandro Vieira (Cidadania-SE). The hearing with the parliamentarian from Sergipe is confirmed for this Tuesday (5), at 3pm, at Youtube channel.
According to Heber Galarce, president of INEL, the objective of the interviews with the presidential candidates is to talk about PL 5829/2019, which is being processed in the Senate and establishes the Legal Framework for Distributed Generation, to debate the current crisis in the electricity sector and its impacts on Brazilian population.

“It is essential that voters know how the presidential candidates think about the energy issue and the use of clean, renewable and cheaper energy, especially at this time of crisis with a high risk of blackouts and significant increases in electricity bills. INEL intends to contribute to expanding the debate on this strategic issue for the economy and the Brazilian population”, analyzes the institute.
