O The smarter E South America, the main Latin American innovation event focused on the energy sector, opened accreditation for this year's edition, which takes place between the 23rd and 25th of August at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.

Free registration for access to the three days can be done by clicking on the link. At this address, interested parties can also purchase tickets for congresses and conferences that take place parallel to the event. Are they:

  • Intersolar South America, focusing on the solar sector in South America;
  • ees South America, focused on batteries and energy storage systems, including the special Power2Drive South America electric vehicle exhibition;
  • Eletrotec+EM-Power South America, focused on electrical infrastructure and energy management.

Expecting to attract 30,000 visitors, Intersolar will bring the latest technologies, products, photovoltaic energy solutions, thermosolar systems and energy storage to the exhibition pavilion.

The fair will feature around 380 exhibitors, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, construction companies, contractors, integrators and research institutes, as well as offering a program of knowledge, education and training sessions.

“The strong bookings in the hall reflect the dynamic outlook for renewable energy in Brazil. Following the first-class edition of The smarter E South America in October 2021, preparations for this year's event in August are in full swing,” said Florian Wessendorf, managing director of Solar Promotion International.

According to the executive, more than 95% of the total area has already been reserved. “Vacancies for Intersolar South America 2022 are almost sold out. In addition to renewable energy, energy storage (electrically or via green hydrogen), energy management and electrical infrastructure are gaining much more attention for the Brazilian energy sector.”

“This development is clearly supported by increased demand for exhibition opportunities at ees South America. Exhibition opportunities at Eletrotec+EM-Power are also on the rise”, he highlighted.

In Wessendorf's view, the event brings a unique opportunity to experience all parts of the new world of energy in one place. “Conference attendees will have access to more than 20 world-class conference sessions. The exhibition program offers 13 workshops and multiple presentations in the Innovation and Application Phase”, he concluded.
