A Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste, held in the city of Fortaleza (CE) on April 18th and 19th, received more than 3 thousand visitors across the country.

During the fair, congresses were held to discuss topics such as modernization of the electrical sector, opportunities for solar energy, H2V (green hydrogen) It is storage, as well as the perspectives of centralized solar generation, of free market It is regulated.

Furthermore, the Summit was an opportunity for several companies in the solar sector present news and their respective portfolios. A Livoltek, for example, announced the new company expansion plans, just like the TBEA, who had his team at the stand to answer questions about the inverters they make available to the market and also discussed trends for the coming months.

Already the Solis presented its latest generation of residential inverters, the S6-GR 1 P(2.5-6)KS. The series of products supports higher input current from the photovoltaic module and, at the same time, features a new, lighter design, and is also integrated with AFCI protection.

The stand of SMA counted on the main launches aimed at the commercial and industrial area. Among the highlights is the SMA EV Charger Business, a commercial charging infrastructure for stations aimed at quickly refueling EVs (electric vehicles).

The other highlight is the Sunny Tripower Storage X. The integrated System Manager function with direct access to the Sunny Portal monitors up to five SMA inverters and an energy meter. This new function enables dynamic closed-loop control of active and reactive power via SMA Dynamic Power Control.

In the case of Nansen, it presented its new generation of single-phase and three-phase inverters, with power from 3 kW to 110 kW. According to the company, the equipment presents greater quality, safety and cost-benefit for its consumers.

Module manufacturers and distributors

Chinese Tier1 PV module manufacturer ZNShine and the German distributor of photovoltaic equipment Krannich participated in the event together.

At the stand, visitors found graphene-coated panels, which facilitate maintenance and cleaning and, consequently, contribute to improving efficiency and increasing energy generation.

Also present was the Renovigi Solar Energy, who took his complete photovoltaic energy solution, investing in kits with inverters and modules of our own brand.

A Techlux participated for the first time in the Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste. The company took advantage of the event to promote the opening of the Northeast branch, located in the city of Paulista (PE), and publicize the solutions of partner manufacturers.

Financing

fintech My Solar Financing announced at the event a new financial product intended for the acquisition of EV chargers (electric vehicles), both for residential use and for commercial establishments.

According to the company, the acquisition of equipment can be done individually or integrated with the installation of photovoltaic modules on the roofs of homes and businesses.

Protection

Also exhibiting for the first time at the fair was Proauto. According to Renan Garcia, the manufacturer's commercial coordinator, it got a lot of leads and business and showcased its solutions they offer with regards to connectivity, protection and monitoring systems.

“One part in which we managed to make interesting contacts was connectivity, mainly our grounding and bimetallic connectors, as here in the region, as there are several GC plants, there is a lot of demand”, he explained.

Fixing structures and Scada system

Regarding the fixing structures, the 2P displayed a new L model for Photovoltaic Fixture Prisoner, which aims to make the integrator's work easier. The model maintains the same technical characteristics as the previous one with some improvements. The fixing hole and oblong slot were misaligned to bring practicality.

Already the PV Operation brings as a novelty a Scada product for DG photovoltaic plants and measurement hardware and assistance in the design phase with communication architecture for large plants. The objective is to show the complexity of the telemetry service for customers of plants between 1 MW (AC) and 5 MW (AC) and assist in remote commissioning.

Topics discussed at the Intersolar Summit

Guilherme Chrispim, president of ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation), commented on the importance of the Summit to discuss topics that are hot in the market, such as energy storage and H2V.

“Electric mobility and storage are coming. Without energy we have nothing. She's at the base. In the state of Ceará, green hydrogen will be a different asset in the context of energy transition”, he said.

“DG (distributed generation) was the source that 'put the most energy' into the Brazilian electrical system, and it complements an issue that is the opportunity to democratize electricity. The possibility of generating your own energy is new, 10 years ago this was something that was not talked about”, said Chrispim.

Jade Romero (MDB), vice-governor of Ceará, was also present at the event and highlighted that the state plays an important role in the energy transition, with a special focus on green hydrogen.

“We want our little ones to be trained to meet demand, with a focus on H2V. We are working to use our climate advantages and our port, which has the capacity to transport clean energy. Our government is keeping a close eye on making investments to promote energy development in the state”, he commented.

'Ceará is a protagonist in the energy transition'

According to Rodrigo Sauaia, CEO of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association), Brazil has taken an important position in the energy transition and Ceará was a protagonist in this topic.

“There is no point in the wonderful potential of storage and green hydrogen if they are not presentable/viable. ABSOLAR will work to promote such markets”, he stated.

Exhibitors

Among the other companies that were present were, for example, Aldo Solar, CredSolaris, Ecori, Growatt, SSM, DAH SOLAR, Canadian, Genyx, Hopewind and Jinko Solar.

Also participating were CCM Solar do Brasil, CGB Energia, Clamper, Connectoway, Conte Solar, Delos Energy Supplies, Elgin, Fortlev Solar, Fotus Distribuidora Solar, Genyx Solar Power, JNG, Serrana Solar, SolarZ, Solfácil, Sou Energy Solar, Sunred Energy and WEG.
