Growatt three-phase 220 V inverters arrive on the Brazilian market

Launch of the manufacturer's new line of inverters promises greater performance and intelligent maintenance

The manufacturer Growatt announced, this Tuesday (12), the launch of its new line of 220 V three-phase on-grid inverters. According to the company, the equipment is intended for use on medium or large-scale commercial and industrial roofs and also for ground-based plants.

Still according to the manufacturer, the new inverters, which belong to the Max, pre-sales are already available at the photovoltaic equipment distributor Aldo Solar and has three models, with powers of 50 kW, 60 kW and 75 kW.

Growatt highlighted that the new products were developed especially for the Brazilian market, ensuring greater performance, safety and intelligent maintenance. Furthermore, the manufacturer informed that the equipment has protection DPS (surge protection device), onboard AC/DC, 8 MPPTs, 2 strings per MPPT, 45A per MPPT and greater security ROI.

“With the arrival of new three-phase 220 V Growatt inverters, the the use of transformers will no longer be necessary. This is because they were developed especially to serve large projects with a nominal output voltage of 220 V”, he highlighted. Joaquim Fernandes, Commercial Director at Aldo.

“In other words, with Growatt three-phase 220V inverters from MAX line, resellers and installers will have one less piece of equipment to manage when quoting and installing photovoltaic generators. Not to mention less labor. In this way, the projects. Thus, the solution has 8 MPPTs, fuse-free design, intelligent I/V diagnosis, intelligent string monitoring. In addition, it has DPS Type ll on both DC and AC sides and degrees of protection C5 and IP65,” he added.

Still according to him, the use of inverters in photovoltaic systems reduces the installation cost, reduces the cost of O&M and offers better LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy). Furthermore, the products have a ten-year warranty.
