JA Solar and (re)energisa sign an agreement for more than 400 MW

Partnership between the two companies celebrates five years in 2023

In partnership with the JA Solar, one of the world's largest manufacturers of photovoltaic modules, (re)energizes will receive, by the end of this year, more than 400 MW of modules for use in DG solar farms (distributed generation).

The partnership between the two companies has been going on since 2018, when Alsol had not yet been acquired by Energisa Group. In 2020, 535 W monofacial modules from JA Solar were supplied to (re)energisa.

Later, JA Solar supplied 550 W monofacial modules, and recently, 550W bifacial and 560W bifacial modules with NType technology, which advocate greater cell efficiency in a smaller space.

Fernando Castro, country manager Brazil, praised the efforts and highlighted the brand's commitment to meeting market expectations, offering quality products, high efficiency and trust to customers. “We have a crystal clear vision of the synergy between the companies, both seek agility, innovation and focus on customers with solutions of the highest quality and availability”.

In turn, Julio Pimenta Energisa Group's Supply Chain manager, responsible for (re)energisa's purchases, recalled the history of the Group created in 1905, its pioneering spirit and innovation DNA as a characteristic for transforming energy into comfort and development for people.

To achieve this, we count on strategic partners such as JA Solar, which provides modules of the highest quality, reliability and performance, helping our farms to stand out in energy generation.”
