JA Solar maintains AAA rating in bankability report

A JA Solar announced that it maintained AAA rating in the bankability report 'PV ModuleTech', by PV Tech, for the 1st quarter of 2023.

The study offers a comprehensive analysis of a manufacturer's performance based on metrics such as its shipments, manufacturing capacity, technology and financial position, with JA scored highly in each of these areas.

According to the 2022 annual report, the company's total revenue was CNY 72.989 billion, an increase of 76.72% from the previous year, with a net profit attributable to the parent company of CNY 5.533 billion, an increase of 171.4% from to 2021.

At the end of 2022, the manufacturer had 1260 independently developed patents. Furthermore, JA Solar stated that it is widely recognized as a leading player in the sector, having been ranked on the Fortune China 500, among the top 500 Chinese private companies and among the top 500 global new energy companies for several years.

Between 2014 and 2022, the company was classified as a 'Top Performer' by PVEL, one of the world's leading organizations for independent photovoltaic testing.

“We have a global strategy, several production units around the world and thirteen sales companies abroad. Our service and product sales network covers 135 countries and regions around the world”, highlighted JA.

By the end of 2022, the company's global cumulative shipments had reached 128 GW, with overseas shipments accounting for approximately 60% of the total value.

“JA Solar continually strengthens its vertically integrated industrial chain and has formulated a long-term plan to expand its production capacity and improve the supply chain in the world's key photovoltaic markets, advancing the company's global strategy and offering enhanced services to its customers on a continuous basis”, they concluded.
