Have you ever thought about starting 2022 with an international award? This is the proposal from manufacturer Jinko Solar.

The company will award photovoltaic projects in the DG (distributed generation) segment developed in Latin America and Italy between February 1st and December 31st, 2021.

Projects with company modules from a minimum of 3 kW can compete for the award.

According to the company, there will be five categories of projects chosen: commercial photovoltaic, industrial photovoltaic, residential photovoltaic, rural photovoltaic and sustainability/CSR photovoltaic project. The most notable developments will receive the corresponding category award.

The inscriptions run until February 22nd through the company website, where projects should be inserted.

Jinko Solar will bring together the best nominees and open voting for the three best projects in each category until March 15th. Winning projects will be announced in an online ceremony on April 1 and will receive a personalized plaque for the winning prize.

“This is the 1st Edition of the Jinko Solar Awards which aims to highlight the most interesting projects that are continually growing in all countries”, explains Beatrice Galeotti, Marketing Manager Latam and Italy. “We hope to receive interesting projects, especially with evidence of environmental improvement”, concludes the executive.

Rating criteria

To choose the winners, Jinko highlights that projects must be registered by the day February 22. The projects must comply with the safety standards in force in Brazil and participants will also need to inform what benefits were used during the project, in addition to explaining the economic returns that the client had when purchasing a clean energy program.

The format of the presentation and its description will also be evaluated. For more information about the evaluation criteria click here or contact the company by clicking here.
