Jinko Solar presents utility-scale storage solution

A Jinko Solar participated in the eighth consecutive year from the Intersolar South America 2023, held in the city of São Paulo (SP), with its most recent innovations in energy solutions.

Among the highlights was the SUNTERA storage solution, aimed atutility-scale applications. According to the manufacturer, the product was shown for the first time in Latin America.

“With a nominal capacity of 3.44 MWh and a container size of 20 feet, it represents the perfect solution for the growing utility-scale market and combines effective liquid cooling, greater efficiency and safety”, emphasized the company.

In terms of module innovations, Jinko presented at its stand the Tiger Neo 66 Cell It is 78 Cell R Series Bifacial, designed to provide high energy performance for any scenario (residential, C&I and utility scale), reaching up to 635 W of power.

“This edition of Intersolar, once again, demonstrated the vitality of the photovoltaic industry in Brazil. An industry capable of creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and which has recorded significant growth in photovoltaic systems, placing this technology as the second source of energy in Brazil”, he commented Alberto Cuter, general manager Latam & Italy at Jinko Solar.

“We are proud to accompany Brazil in the transition to renewable energy with our high quality and efficient products, such as the new Tiger Neo N-Type, the best-selling product for large-scale projects”, he highlighted.

Jinko strengthens presence in Brazil

On August 28th, the company organized an exclusive cocktail party in a hotel, located in São Paulo, for its main Brazilian customers, both in the utilities and DG (distributed generation) segments.

“The Brazilian market is the fourth largest in the world in terms of power added in the last year and is in the TOP 10 of nations with the largest installed capacity in photovoltaic technology, whether in large plants or small distributed generation systems”, pointed out the company.

“The numbers show that Brazil is on its way to becoming one of the main players in the renewable energy sector and, of course, still represents the first main market for Jinko in Latin America. The event itself was indicative of market consolidation”, they concluded.
