A Jinko Solar released, on August 26, its semi-annual report for 2022. In the first six months of this year, the manufacturer shipped a total of 18.21 GW in photovoltaic modules.
The survey also showed that the company's performance increased year after year, reaching an increase in operating revenue of 112.44%.
Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies increased by 60.14% year on year, achieving an increase in operating cash flow of 481%.
1st place in global shipments
Another point emphasized by Jinko is that it ranked first in module shipments globally. The report showed that the European market represented the largest percentage.
According to the manufacturer, Tiger Neo series panels have achieved a large number of orders and high premium levels. In the Chinese market, for example, they carried out large basic projects focused on exploring and developing the distribution market, achieving rapid growth in shipments.
In addition, the company has also achieved rapid growth in Latin America, India and other markets through industry rotation opportunities.
“Jinko Solar management indicated that throughout the year, the company has confidence in completing the 35-40 GW module shipment target, while continuing to make steady progress towards the N-type product shipment target of 10 GW”, they highlighted.
N-type TOPCon technology
The company stated that it has also established a competitive advantage in the N-type TOPCon cell. According to the report, this technology exceeded 24.8%.
“At the same time, through continued exploration of new technologies in IBC and perovskite, for example, we show confidence to continually maintain the
technological leadership in the industry”, they emphasized.
In the second quarter, the 16 GW TOPCon type N technology project was fully completed. The 8 GW in Hefei has been put into operation and the 11 GW project in Jianshan is also under construction with the aim of higher efficiency and lower cost.
