The manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters and storage systems Kehua Tech began the second half of the year with the milestone of 20 GW of products shipped globally, an increase of 35% compared to last year.

According to the manufacturer, the markets of China, the United States, India and Brazil were responsible for more than 50% of these shipments.

The company began investing in the Brazilian photovoltaic market in 2019, offering its equipment consisting of string and centralized inverters with a power range that varies between 1 kW and 6.8 MW. In order to meet all market demand, Kehua announced an increase in production last year.

To this end, in 2020, it built a new smart and multifunctional workshop to produce photovoltaic and ESS (energy storage systems) products and systems above 500 kW.

The structure has a test platform for testing products with a power level of 6.25 MW at a constant temperature adjustable from 30 to 60 ℃. In 2021, the company plans to build a workshop for ESS container and prefabricated data center products.

The workshop has the capacity for high voltage testing of 35 kV/10 kV and a Lithium battery, and the annual capacity is expected to reach 15 GW. The company has also built a new laboratory for reliability testing for its renewable energy products, testing for all models with power capacities between 3 kW and 12.5 MW.

The laboratory also integrates the functions of remote communication, remote testing, remote control, adjustable temperature and humidity, and security. The capacity of products tested by Kehua has exceeded 4 GW.

Currently, the manufacturer has an office in Brazil, an after-sales service center and a local spare parts warehouse in the city of Sorocaba (SP), in addition, Kehua has authorized outsourced service partners in Paraná, Espírito Santo and Pernambuco to provide support and services to its customers.
