WDC Networks and solar cell and module manufacturer LONGi Solar have signed a supply agreement targeting the distributed generation market in Brazil. The announcement was released last week by the companies.

“LONGi, a global leader in the supply of solar modules and the company with the greatest financial health in the segment, has its HIMO-4 and HIMO-5 products recognized for their high quality and energy production. We recognize the very high quality of LONGi's solutions as a strategic partner for the manufacture of WDC Solar generators”, stated André Luiz de Paula Souza, director of the WDC Networks Solar.

“We joined WDC because we have in common leadership in our segments and an appreciation for high quality. At LONGi, we are very mature in this solar market, which is complex, and we constantly invest in technology to always offer the best. High gains in scale, very high performance, better performance to generate more and more energy with our products. We have set up a local structure to support integrators and we have no doubt about the success that this partnership with WDC will have”, said Gabriel Magdalon, regional director of LONGi Solar in Brazil.

With the agreement, LONGi's products are now part of the WDC Solar portfolio and are available to customers in the business model called TaaS (Technology as a Service) - a modality that eliminates the cost of purchasing products, pays monthly investment and allows flexibility in contracts, cost reduction and can be quickly updated according to what is most innovative on the market.
