MEC opens tender for construction of photovoltaic solar plant at UFTM

The MEC (Ministry of Education) opened, this Monday (14), an electronic auction for the hiring of a specialized company to supply materials, equipment, installation, configuration and commissioning of a photovoltaic solar plant for UFTM (Federal University of Mining Triangle).

According to the published notice, the criteria adopted for choosing the company will be the lowest price and the plant will be divided into 17 kWp mini plants integrating a total of 255 kWp, installed on the university premises and other units in Uberaba (MG). The delivery period must be 180 calendar days from the date of receipt of purchase confirmation.

Those interested in participating must register with SICAF (Unified Supplier Registration System) at Comprasnet (Federal Government Purchasing Portal) until 9am on September 24th, when the public session will open.

Also according to the notice, items must meet certain criteria. Inverters, for example, must be three-phase with a voltage between phases of 220 V; they must be specifically designed to work with power optimizers; have an internet connection (via cable or Wi-Fi); efficiency equal to or greater than 98%; among other features.

Furthermore, photovoltaic modules in the power range from 350 Wp to 415 Wp may be used as long as they meet the total intended generation; have an average cell efficiency of 19%, or higher; have PERC technology, 144 monocrystalline photovoltaic half cells; 12-year product warranty and 25-year linear warranty with 83.1% or higher; among other criteria.
