We see the Brazilian market very strategic for the storage power. That's what he said Thiago Gomes, director of Deye at the Brazil, in an exclusive interview with Solar Channel.

“The storage market is, in my opinion, at least 10 times bigger than solar. We are very aware of this segment, so much so that we have our own battery factory”, he highlighted.

According to Gomes, the company is still bringing new solutions to the sector, targeting agribusiness and the entry of new consumers into the free market from this year onwards.

Participation in fairs

During the interview, the executive also discussed the solutions that the manufacturer presented at sector fairs, such as Expo GD, held in Belo Horizonte (MG), and the Intersolar Summit South, which took place in Porto Alegre (RS).

“We brought our new 60 kWh BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and our line of hybrid inverters, ranging from 3 to 50 kW”, he explained.

“With the drop in the price of lithium cells, the BESS that was a future is now super present, it is already a reality. In fact, it is now available from our distributors. I look very favorably on the behavior of the market, of integrators towards this new trend that is storage systems”, concluded the director of Deye.
