Short-term market in the electricity sector generated R$ 12.5 billion in 2022

According to CCEE (Electricity Trading Chamber), in December 2022, the MCP (Short Term Market) of the Brazilian electricity sector liquidated R$ 448 million, of the total R$ 1.57 billion accounted for.

The operation totaled R$ 12.5 billion settled, out of R$ 26 billion that went through accounting, accumulated since January. were registered R$ 945 million still dammed due to injunctions against payment of hydrological risk (GSF) in the free market.

According to the data presented, installments, including those linked to the payment of debts opened after the renegotiation of the GSF, now account for R$ 179 million and the effective default amounted to R$ 567 thousand.

Agents who have legal decisions in force not to participate in the apportionment of default arising from GSF injunctions realized compliance close to 87.7%.

The CCEE also indicates that those who continue to be supported by decisions that impose proportional payment verified a payment of 23.2%. Already creditors who do not have injunctions, received approximately 20.2% of your credits.
