The MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) postponed the auction for supply to Isolated Systems to April 2021, which was scheduled to take place in March of next year.

The event aims to promote the contracting of supply solutions to serve 22 locations not connected to the SIN (National Interconnected System), located in the states of Acre (3), Amazonas (5), Pará (10), Rondônia (2) and Roraima (2).

Furthermore, the MME also changed deadlines established in the Ordinance No. 341, published in September with the auction guidelines.

Previously, interested entrepreneurs had to register their supply solutions with EPE (Energy Research Company) by December 4th. Now, the deadline has been extended until 12pm on January 15th.

According to the government, the expectation is that the auction will be operated by the CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber) online.

The changes are in Ordinance 425, published last Friday (4), in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union).
