At the beginning of the year, the modules from the Hanersun were approved in a series of tests, guaranteeing the certification in security against fire highest level (Class 1) on the Italian market.

Among the certified products is HITOUCH 5N line, which uses 182mm TOPCon cells combined with half-cell technology and high-density packaging, achieving an efficiency of up to 22.65% and a maximum output of 585W.

According to the company, the customizable all-black design harmonizes with European architectural aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for commercial, industrial and residential applications.

“As we pursue technological innovation, we place great emphasis on the safety and durability of our products. We constantly collaborate with authorized third-party organizations, striving to improve the long-term reliability of our modules through new materials, technologies and processes,” highlighted Jingyu Sun, vice president of sales at Hanersun.

“Our goal is to meet the diverse needs of the global market and offer greater value to customers. This Class 1 fire safety certification not only proves the high quality of our equipment, but also strongly supports our expansion in the Italian market”, concluded the executive.

About certification

UNI 9177 (from 1 to 5, with class 1 representing the highest standard) is considered the most rigorous certification in Europe. In Italy, for example, the government has implemented strict safety standards for building components, including solar panels.

According to the company, it is necessary to comprehensively determine the resistance of the panel surface to flame, the combustion condition of the module under the influence of fire and radiant heat and, finally, delimit the score and grade according to various coefficients of test.

Only when Class 1 results are obtained in the UNI 8457 and UNI 9174 tests will the photovoltaic module be classified as UNI 9117, at the highest level, and receive such fire protection certificate.
