System monitoring ensures greater energy control

With an intelligent system, the user can adjust their consumption patterns to make the most of solar energy.
Monitoramento do sistema garante maior controle da energia

The shortage of the main Brazilian reservoirs amid the water crisis caused a sharp rise in electricity bills this year. In January, when the tariff flag in force in the country was yellow, the extra energy charge was R$ 1.34 for every 100 kWh consumed. This value is currently R$ 9.49.

In the same period, the number of consumer units using solar energy increased from 490,500 to 709,854, according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) – between January 1st and August 19th.

In addition to easing their pockets at the end of the month, solar energy fans have other advantages. One of them is the possibility of tracking and monitoring your daily consumption. This is possible through photovoltaic inverter technology, one of the essential pieces of equipment when installing a solar energy system.

On the market, there are several inverter options that enable consumers to generate their own energy, including SAJ. According to the manufacturer, its customers rely on the eSolar platform. Through it, it is possible to perform data monitoring, remote maintenance and intelligent energy management.

Also according to the company, the data is visualized through a line graph, allowing the user to check the peak point and the lowest point of energy generation and discover, intuitively, the periods of peak energy and low energy generation.

This way, he has an overview of how his photovoltaic system works, being able to adjust his consumption patterns in his home, or in his business to get the most out of his plant.

The tool also offers support for remote configuration, which allows end users to manage their system from any location, as long as they have an internet connection, making the maintenance process, if necessary, more convenient for the customer.

Furthermore, if a problem is identified in the system, an alarm notification and a suggested solution to the problem will be sent to the email registered by the customer.

24 hour monitoring

SAJ's R5 inverter series offers a 24-hour differential load monitoring solution. In addition to photovoltaic generation data, users can also check real-time data on energy consumed; the amount of self-consumption, energy exported and energy eventually purchased from the grid.

Data storage by the platform can be carried out monthly or annually, allowing the end user to analyze even longer periods and identify periods and actions that make the use of their photovoltaic system more efficient.

By observing their own consumption patterns and their own energy generation, this database allows users to obtain the best results and achieve a return on their initial investment in a shorter period of time.

To find out more about the eSolar platform, its features and step-by-step instructions for using it, follow the webinar that will be held by SAJ on August 26th, at 6:00 pm on its website. Facebook. The event will feature experts from the manufacturer and will have prize draws for participants.
