MTR and Risen sign agreement for 1 GW in HJT modules for DG projects

O Group MTR and the Chinese multinational Risen Energy signed a agreement to expand the supply of photovoltaic equipment to Brazil. The contract aims to purchase of 1 GW in photovoltaic modules for the next 12 months.

In all, will be acquired by MTR about 1.4 million 700 Wp solar panels of 210mm Type-N It is HJT technology (heterojunction) from Risen Energy.

You products will be destined to serve DG plants (distributed generation) above 1 MW and will be transported from China to Brazil in two thousand containers. 

According to the companies, the HJT modules will be manufactured in alloy steel structure, which offers greater mechanical resistance compared to aluminum structures, guaranteeing greater performance in current climate conditions.

The company also highlighted that if customers wish to receive solar panels in stages it is possible once the MTR provides its own warehouse to stock the products and deliver the rest of them when buyers want.

Thiago Rios, CEO of MTR Group, highlights that the partnership signed It is one of the main moves made by the company in the Brazilian market. 

“We import and take the equipment to our warehouse to be delivered according to the customer’s schedule. Furthermore, the entire transport and delivery system will be carried out by CT Botelho, a logistics company from the MTR group”, he commented.
