German multinational migrates operations to Campinas

The German multinational ConverterTec Deutschland GmbH, which produces systems and components for renewable energy in 47 countries, will move its operations to Flex Viracopos, in Campinas (SP), in the coming weeks. 

According to the company, the infrastructure and privileged location of the complex – which is next to Viracopos International Airport – were the main attractions for renting the space.

“Flex Viracopos combines the aesthetic attractiveness, comfort and infrastructure of office buildings with the flexibility and cost of warehouse condominiums”, said Cleuber Pinsetta, general manager of the company. 

The German giant's new administrative and logistics area was rented at the end of December 2020 and the The expectation is that the company will migrate operations to the new address by March this year. In total, the space will be 750 m². 

Headquartered in Kempen, Germany, ConverterTec has a global presence in countries such as Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, India, Japan and the United States.

In Brazil, the multinational serves the Latin American markets by providing systems, components, services and technical training. At the Campinas unit, the company will receive and distribute parts for its entire wind energy operation.

Flex Viracopos is located in the Bresco Corporate Park and serves companies from different segments. By offering modular spaces and adapting the finishes of internal areas, the property serves offices, laboratories, storage, data centers, showrooms, graphics, call centers, assembly and high-tech industries.  In total, the park has approximately 1 million m² of land and 418 thousand m² of potential built area. The space has office buildings, training centers, warehouses for logistics, light industry and technology, in addition to the Hotel Ramada.
