A Neoenergia will allocate approximately R$ 69 million in projects that promote energy efficiency and the fight against waste of electrical energy. The resource will be made available through Public Calls. According to the company, the selected initiatives should be implemented throughout 2024 and 2025.
Ana Christina Mascarenhas, superintendent of Energy Efficiency at Neoenergia, clarifies that public calls for choosing projects are part of the Distributors’ Energy Efficiency Program, regulated by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).
Aiming to guide consumers to participate more assertively in ANEEL's Public Calls for Energy Efficiency Projects, Neonergia will hold, from October onwards, five free workshops in Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Bahia, São Paulo and the Federal District.
“The five workshops that we will promote make it easier to clarify doubts and prospect suggestions. The ultimate objective will always be to encourage more efficient use of electrical energy by our consumers through projects that prove the economic viability of the actions used with an impact on the electrical sector, with the benefits of the project being required to be at least 25% greater than the costs” , explained Ana.
The first Workshop will take place in Recife (PE), on October 5th, and then is scheduled to be held in Salvador (BA), Limeira (SP), Natal (RN) and Brasília (DF), respectively.
Registrations need to be validated by distributors so that the target audience is reached (government consumers and industrial, residential and commercial customers). After registering, interested parties will receive a confirmation email that must be presented on the day of the event. Registration for workshops can be made at: www.neoenergiaforum.com.br.
