Omega Energia and Apolo close an agreement to have a solar energy holding company

A Omega Energy signed a agreement with Apolo Gestão de Recursos for the creation of a holding aimed at the implementation of solar energy generation projects in Brazil.

A company committed to investing R$ 58.5 million to get 69,95% from the holding company in partnership with the Apollo, what will hold the remaining 30.05% of the share capital of the new company. 

You initial investments in this first phase of the operation for acquisition and structuring of projects are estimated at R$ 140 million, as well as the implementation of six DG (distributed generation) photovoltaic plants – which, together, total a capacity of 19.5 MWp.

You agreements also include the possibility of additional investments and which can reach a total own generation capacity of up to 141.1 MWp in a second phase. In this case, the Investments could exceed the R$ 1 billion mark.

You projects should be fully operational throughout 2024 and the financial resources required for these investments will be obtained mainly through trading operations related to margin increases on some of the company's assets, the document added.
