Next Wednesday (14), at 3pm, a webinar will take place on the process of building productivity functions for constrained-off purposes in photovoltaic plants. The event will be held by the ONS (National Electric System Operator), via Webex.

Constrained-off is the term used to describe events in which the electrical energy generation operation is temporarily limited or interrupted due to specific operational restrictions in a plant or set of projects.

The event will be available on SINtegra, operator system, and on the ONS channel at YouTube. Furthermore, agents who have questions about accessing the websites can send them to the email [email protected].

The objective is to present new procedures and criteria for calculating the productivity functions of photovoltaic plants. According to the Operator, the new rules come into force from April 1, 2024.

They comply with the guidelines established in Normative Resolution (REN) ANEEL No. 1,073/2023.

“REN [1,073/2023] is the result of ANEEL Public Consultation No. 48/2022, which changed processes and criteria for determining and paying restrictions on the operation of photovoltaic solar generating plants (UFV)”, stated the ONS in a note.
