The manufacturer PHB has just launched the EVC-7K-1 and EVC-22K-3, two models of chargers for electric vehicles, on the Brazilian market.

The equipment is available in both three-phase (22 kW) and single-phase (7.4kW) models. Both models have a type 2 connector – a standard adopted in Brazil – and have a 6 meter cable.

The charger also has three entry options for power cables, at the top, bottom and rear of the charging station, offering greater installation flexibility.

According to the company, the three-phase charger has an estimated full charge time of 2 to 4 hours, and the single-phase charger takes 5 to 10 hours. Furthermore, the operator can consult the data remotely using a cell phone application, as the equipment has communication via Bluetooth and WiFi.

The charging mode operation is automatic (Plug and Charge) or with authorization through the application or RFID card, a card that has a pre-recorded identification number to store user data.

The manufacturer also has an optional power controller for the charger, called a DLB box, which allows the customer to install a charging station without the need to make changes to existing electrical installations.

The device is capable of monitoring the current in the general circuit breaker, reducing the charging station current when necessary, so that there is no interruption of power supply due to exceeding the circuit breaker's rated current.

The equipment is intended for residential and commercial use, has an IP65 degree of protection, with the possibility of safe installation in external environments.

The charging stations are now available for purchase on the PHB platform and can be purchased individually or when purchasing with a photovoltaic kit, at a discount.
